Sponsorship Opportunities

Vision Long Island strives to provide opportunities for our donors to contribute to the area they are most interested in when it comes to our advocacy for smart growth on Long Island.  We hold a number of events across the year which are part of our efforts to inform and educate.  We also release a twice-weekly newsletter that reaches an audience of thousands. 

Below is a list of opportunities to support us in those efforts and help keep Vision Long Island working with local communities to develop in a responsible manner.

9th Annual Complete Streets Summit
Annual Event, Completed for 2021

This event regularly features over 250 government and community leaders talking about improving the safety of their roadways and creating a more complete transportation experience in our region.

Long Island Main Street Alliance
2021 activities include monthly zoom meetings and 2 live meetings later in the year

50-250 people regularly show up to at our Alliance meetings, which focus on our local downtowns.  Attendees are made up of mostly small businesses and chambers, representing 50 downtowns and local government officials.

Long Island Main Street News Show
New episode released each weeknight with 250x additional throughout the year

This series of videos features Interviews with local and regional leaders and talks about their efforts on Long Island.  We have taped 120 shows to date with 50,000 original views on our vimeo channel, which you can view here.

Long Island Main Street News E-Newsletter
New editions twice a week with 75x additional throughout the year

Our twice weekly publication that features downtown and infrastructure news of the week.  This digital publication reaches our list of 25,000 subscribers.

Pink Tie Delivers
Food and financial donations each Friday with 50x additional throughout the year

We regularly gather between 6 to 10 Pink Tie volunteers and food pantry volunteers at 45 locations across Long Island.  These volunteers provide relief to vulnerable community members who have been hit hard by the pandemic. We have made 120 drops to date.

Long Island Lobby Coalition and the 13th Annual Long Island Lobby Day
This event will be virtual for 2021

This group of local elected officials and stakeholders tackles both policy and project priorities for our region on both a State and Federal level.  We represent approximately 100 groups with 50 travelling to Albany or Washington D.C.

Sponsorship levels available for this event are $100 to $1,000

Long Island Youth Summit
Virtual Event to be held April 16, 8am-2pm

Featuring between 200 to 400 young people from 20 to 25 high schools, this event has youth working together on Long Island issues ranging from Coronavirus to environment, mental health, jobs and health.

Sponsorship levels available for this event are $1,000, $2,000, $5,000 (the lead sponsor of $10,000 taken has been)

Smart Growth Saturday Downtown Walking Tours
We will be touring multiple locations in downtowns across Long Island

Hundreds, if not thousands, of Long Islanders will participate in simultaneous tours of at least 20 existing smart growth projects across our region as well as walking tours of the local downtown

2021 Smart Growth Awards
Virtual event to be held June 11th with Live Individual Delivery of Awards
Kickoff for 80-100 VIP’s will take place in person on May 4th

This event will feature 700 business, community, and governmental leaders while honoring 15 of the best projects, policies and individuals nominated by locals each year.

2021 Smart Growth Summit
This event will take place on December 1 - 3rd and will be part live and part virtual
Kickoff for 80-100 VIP’s will take place in person during September

This event gathers between 1,000 to 1,200 business, community and government leaders.   Everyone that is involved in downtown revitalization and infrastructure on Long Island regularly attended this even, including 80+ elected officials, 50+communities represented with local leaders, and 40 TOD developers. 

Sponsorship levels – $3,000, $5,000, $10,000 (lead sponsor of $15,000 taken)
