The Long Island Smart Growth Working Group meets throughout the year to plan and aide in the implementation of state and local policies that impact Smart Growth development on Long Island. The group is organized by Vision Long Island, Tri-State Transportation Campaign, Neighborhood Network, the Sustainability Institute at Molloy College, Regional Plan Association, Dowling College, Permanent Citizens Advisory Committee to the MTA, LI Federation of Labor, LI Business Council, Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce, AARP-Long Island Chapter, Citizens Campaign for the Environment, League of Conservation Voters and many others.
