The Hicksville Chamber of Commerce, Community Council and the civic organizations within the Hicksville area have been working with Vision Long Island for several years to develop an action plan to revitalize the downtown area of Hicksville near the train station and along Broadway.  One of the key components of that action plan is changes to the current zoning in order to allow for a more walkable, vibrant downtown.  The Town of Oyster Bay has developed a draft zoning proposal for the area and is hosting a meeting this Thursday, November 17 at 7 pm at Hicksville High School in cafeteria A.  Please join us to learn more about the proposed zoning changes and help shape them moving forward.
